ALG Presents Sierra HD and Silverado HD with 2020 Technology Innovation Award

ALG recently revealed the winners of its prestigious 2020 Innovation Awards. These awards go to vehicles that utilize impressive design elements, features and technologies. Both the GMC Sierra HD and the Chevrolet Silverado HD won the 2020 Technology Innovation Award.

In its second year of presenting the Innovation Awards, ALG specifically recognized vehicles that performed well in design, convenience, powertrain and technology categories. Eric Lyman, Chief Industry Analyst at ALG, a subsidiary of TrueCar, said, “This year’s winners have set the bar high in their respective categories and have given consumers a reason to consider them when shopping for their next new vehicle.”

ALG was impressed by the towing technologies in the GMC Sierra HD and the Chevrolet Silverado HD, which led to the trucks’ award win. For the 2020 model year, both trucks offer up to 15 available camera views so that you can more easily take tight turns and hitch your trailer.

You can opt to have the Bed View, Hitch View and even the Transparent Trailer View, which can help you keep an eye on the traffic behind you. You can check out the different views conveniently using the available infotainment system.

If you’re in the market for a capable truck with the latest technologies, consider the 2020 GMC Sierra HD or the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD. You can take each model out for test drive at Curry Auto Center.

Which Chevy is Most Efficient?

Chevrolet

With tuition costs climbing year after year, today’s college students are more cost-savvy than previous generations. If you are one of the 64 percent of Hoosiers living off campus and you’re thinking about a car, it’s safe to say that a gas guzzler might not be the most economical fit. Luckily, Chevrolet offers a whole lineup of fantastic, fuel-efficient cars for you to consider.

2019 Bolt EV

The most fuel-efficient Chevy is the all-electric 2019 Bolt, the model which Car and Driver dubbed “the best everyday electric on the market today.” The Bolt is a practical vehicle with an impressive electric powertrain, earning a combined EPA-estimated 119 MPG equivalent while supplying 200 horsepower.*

2019 Malibu Hybrid

For more cabin space, consider the hybrid trim of the 2019 Malibu. This hybrid twist on a Chevy staple yields 49 mpg in the city and 43 on the highway.** Its acceleration is smooth for a mid-size sedan thanks to its 277 lb-ft of torque.

2019 Spark

The 2019 Spark offers the most bang for your buck, however. A lively hatchback with a starting price of just $14,000, this model boasts an advanced infotainment system. It also achieves a combined 33 mpg, to help reduce greenhouse gases while saving you at the pump.
