The GMC Acadia three-row crossover will return in the 2020 model year with new, bolder styling, new powertrains with improved performance, and better technology, making it a competitive SUV within its segment.
Outside, the 2020 Acadia has been redesigned with more rugged styling, including a new grille with sharper lines and LED headlights. This updated look brings the Acadia more in line with the rest of the GMC lineup and reflects its impressive capabilities.
The new Acadia will be available at four trim levels, the highest of which is the luxury Denali trim available across the GMC lineup. The trim levels offer diverse capabilities, like the AT4 trim designed for off-roading, but they all pack smart features.
For instance, the Acadia is equipped with an upgraded GMC Infotainment System, which now lets drivers create a customized user profile that remembers their various preferences, as well as new satellite navigation. The new Acadia will also offer wireless charging and a camera with higher definition than ever.
Replacing the old six-speed automatic transmission is a new nine-speed, which is paired with all engine options, including the new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 GMC Acadia keeps its standard 2.5-liter I-4 engine and the available 3.6-liter V6.
